WANTED

Hello all!

Why is this 4-legged glutton wanted??? It ate my chillies and tomatoes! They were doing so great too. Dr. Klug, my boss, and I bought them from this nice place near Home Depot. I had transferred them in a few weeks ago and did every thing I could possibly do to nurture them to good health. They had organic fertilizer, grass clipping mulch, I watered them plenty, and sang to them when nobody was looking. I was very proud of them. But then....

It came in and ate everything. It had left several signs it had visited our lovely garden before, and left more the night it ate my chillies (it was mocking us).  The attack, however, could have been much worse. It, thankfully, ate only the tops of my plants (the leaves that were newest and most nutrient rich). There were really only two casualties (my plum and red bell peppers on the top left corner). The rest of the plants should rebound fully.

We had done everything we could to prevent these things from trespassing - cable tying our fence more securely, installing a metal cord on the bottom of our fence so they wouldn't crawl under. However, we did find more possible entrances, and the cable was loose enough for them to get through, so hopefully - after further securing our fence and tightening the cord - it won't be coming in anymore.

Otherwise, I'm sure we can find many other solutions for this particular pest problem.
